What's going on in her sad little mind?

I was fine when I woke up then I went and I saw my e-mails and had that from a girl I know:

“Have you got any news of Madame Flament?
Because of what happened to Moscow, I’m really worried.”

Danièle Flament is the director of the Master I’m attending at the moment and also my boss because I’m doing office work for them so we are always on the phone, but for last week because she was in Moscow for a conference. She came back on Friday night.

And there were the bombings in the tube and 38 dead and of course there’s this girl who writes me a bloody message because she worries. What the fuck?!

God above! Another one of those light-hearted, irrelevant gushing little brat who freaks out for anything and who always thinks the world revolves around them and everybody they know has to be involved in everything.

She knows someone who was in Russia so of course she’s dead! She managed to be at one of those stations at the exact moment it happened. What an amazing coincidence, isn’t it? There are 10 millions people living in Moscow which is five times the size of Paris but in her little mind she can’t see any of that and the person she knows WAS there, it was just the baddest of luck! (I know it should ‘worst’, that’s rhetorical).

No, of course she’s fine, you narrow-minded idiot! It happened in two small places in a huge capital, it was not a bloody earthquake shaking the whole region.

Let me tell you I deleted the message right away without even replying but that kind of thing, not even thinking for a second before writing a message just get so far up my nose! How can anyone be so fucking stupid? I mean seriously! …

Anyway, the day got better after that Ricky Martin being gay, my gaydar not being broken. And while we’re on the gay subject of gays I just saw the cover of a movie call “Hunks and Spunk”, sound promising! ^^

Yes, for once my gaydar was right!

It was back in August 2008, I did a whole entry about that. In French, at that time, so it wasn’t for everyone: Ricky High-Time-For-A-Coming-Out-Martin

I basically said that I thought it was very strange that Ricky Martin, a 38 yo outstandingly handsome, gorgeous, rich, famous and successful man doesn’t have a wife or a girlfriend or even an ex somewhere and has to call for a surrogate mother to have children. Then there were his looks but with all the “metrosexual” today, we never know. Look at Beckham or Ronaldo, all dressed up, more made up and acting gayer than us fairies!

And today, from the Guardian, so not some bloody tabloids!

Ricky Martin announces he is gay

Martin, who has previously dodged questions about his sexual orientation, finally ended years of speculation with a post on his website

James Meikle

Singer Ricky Martin has ended years of speculation about his sexuality by declaring himself "a fortunate homosexual man".

Martin, who has previously dodged questions about his sexual orientation, finally came out on his website, saying the birth of his two sons and writing his memoirs had led to his decision.

Writing in both English and Spanish, the Puerto Rico-born singer, who has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide, said: "To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids where (sic) born with."

The 38-year-old crossover star, whose biggest worldwide hit was Livin' la Vida Loca, said: "Many people told me: 'Ricky it's not important', 'it's not worth it', 'all the years you've worked and everything you've built will collapse', 'many people in the world are not ready to accept your truth, your reality, your nature'.

"Because all this advice came from people who I love dearly, I decided to move on with my life not sharing with the world my entire truth. Allowing myself to be seduced by fear and insecurity became a self-fulfilling prophecy of sabotage. Today I take full responsibility for my decisions and my actions."

Martin, whose sons were born to a surrogate mother in 2008, said he knew writing his as-yet unpublished memoirs was going to help free him from things that "were too heavy for me to keep inside ... Enough is enough. This has to change. This was not supposed to happen 5 or 10 years ago, it is supposed to happen now. Today is my day, this is my time, and this is my moment.

"These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn't even know existed.

"What will happen from now on? It doesn't matter. I can only focus on what's happening to me in this moment. The word "happiness" takes on a new meaning for me as of today. It has been a very intense process.

"Every word that I write in this letter is born out of love, acceptance, detachment and real contentment. Writing this is a solid step towards my inner peace and vital part of my evolution.

"I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am."

Martin, who rose to fame with Latin boy band Menudo, became a solo artist in 1990. In 1994 he played a bartender and singer in the US TV soap General Hospital. He later starred on Broadway and started his own foundation to fight child-trafficking and protect children's rights.

I don't know why but I'm so happy he's come out! ^^

But we're losing track...so here's man!

Aitor Mateo

Be grateful, we loathe you!

This is where I rant.

That man considers himself as genuinely superior to me.

His name is Christian Vanneste. He’s a MP for the Nord region in France and belongs to the wonderful party Sarkozy is the leader of: UMP. An ever populist party whose baseline is: “Let’s be frank, openly intolerant and violent in words because that’s the way the People is”.
Christian Vanneste is one of the main reasons I can’t wait to leave that country of mine. First, as a historian because that man came up with a law in 2005 that stated we now would have to teach an official history in school when it comes to colonisation in order “ to show the positive side of French colonisation, especially in Northern Africa".

An official history to make us look wonderful, erase all the crimes, the torture and the fact that we basically just came up one day, brought everyone down to slavery, servants and animals because they were different hence "inferior". We supposedly bought everything to those poor ignorant people who were living in nothing with nothing, like the USA are convinced they are doing with the Middle East today. And we only “left” after they got fed up and rebelled. But we didn’t just leave, we made sure we would torture, slaughter and destroy the most we could before.

That’s history like it’s taught in dictatorship or the US: let’s use it to make us feel like we are born the “Good Guys”.

Luckily, France cringed and rebelled as well. And that law was repealed in 2006. Yes! It took a whole year for the Président de la République to act and the Constitutional Council to realise there should be no such law to say what’s good to teach or not when it comes to a crucial like History.

Mainly, the Right moved because the situation was becoming embarrassing. Not because they were betraying everything the French Revolution was about or they were once again very good at pointing fingers at others’ mistakes while absolving our own in a nutshell. But because, firstly, France’s former colonies that are now districts within the country were starting to riot, the population was hugely hostile; and secondly Paris wanted to be the leader to its brand new scheme for stronger links between Europe and Africa but the latter’s countries refused to sign anything anymore!

But bottom-line, it moved people and we repealed it.

What we didn’t repeal or complain about is the next brilliant thing on the agenda of that man: “Homosexual behavior a threat to the survival of humanity, and "morally inferior" to heterosexuality”.

...

Sure, there was a minor outcry and he was trialed and punished but the judgment was overruled and now that man is still as the National Assembly, parading proudly among his peers who openly called us, gay people, the exact same names Hitler and Göbbels used for the Jews.

And nobody’s moving. He was not summoned. He was not removed. That’s just everyday life. A MP is calling me “inferior” to him, to others just because I’m gay but that’s just another day in glorious insufferable France.

Christian Vanneste is one of the main reasons why I want to leave France but he’s useful, somehow. Because he and all his friends at UMP are here to always remind me that I’m not welcomed in my country even if they demand I love and serve this very country.

Why would I want to do that when that country doesn’t want me and treat me like shit?

Eat me!

RIP Kristian Digby

Yesterday, the late news came that Kristian Digby, one of very favourite TV presenter was found dead at his flat in London. The reason of his death remain undetermined.

He is a brilliant witty, funny, smart and, yes, cute and openly gay bloke who was one of the reason I love England and the BBC.

He was barely 32...I'll miss him terribly ;(
